  80. Yes, he's obviously young, no doubt given the right tutoring, talented.
  81. Brash maybe even.  But hey AT, he also has the guts to be *truthfull*.
  82. You've had damned near 9 months to ship the stuff to the copiers and thence
  83. to the developers.  New stuffs to add is no excuse as long as what you want
  84. to add remains compatible and doesn't break on 3.0-3.1 machines already
  85. shipped.

  87. You can't, in your wildest dreams believe that your own people can write
  88. enough software to make this resurrected machine into a best seller. You
  89. absolutely HAVE TO HAVE THE ASSISTANCE OF THE BELEIVERS to make this even a
  90. break even operation.

  92. So get off your butt and DO it. By not doing it, you are consigning
  93. yourself to the same scrap heap Apple will be piled on by this time next
  94. year!  If they last that long.  They can't lose another 68 mill next
  95. quarter, or the next big sidewalk sale will be held in Silicon Valley.

  97. To Jan: Get yourself a late copy of F.W. 4. Polish it up according to your
  98. formatting tastes and wear a good 24 pin dmp out. Nice. But you'll need
  99. extra padding in your chair, its a long job.
